MOTUC Fisto

I (like many many others) have a love/hate relationship with Mattel and their Masters of the Universe Classics Line, some may go so far as to call it battered wife syndrome. Without going into those details too much let’s just say there comes a time, for about 3-4 months every year, where I getting bitten by the MotUC bug. I’ll go a bit crazy and buy just about everything available, then I’ll get tired of the line and drop it for the rest of the year. Lather, rinse, repeat. This time around, it was MotUC Fisto that started the cycle again. So was he was worth it, or am I done for another year!

TFCC Runabout

Intro

Now I can’t claim to know anything about the Battlechargers, having never owned either as a kid. (and from what I’ve heard I’m better off for that) But when I saw that the planned Transformers Collectors Club exclusives were going to be those very figures I got excited.  Not so much because of who they were, but of the molds that they were being redecoed from.  So let’s take a moment to look at the first of two TFCC exclusives, Runabout(Over-run).

S.I.C. Super-1

S.I.C.s (Super Imaginative Chogokin) have always been a fringe interest for me.  I’ve never really liked the over-monstrous designs these figures tend to take enough to throw down the money and buy them.  But then 2011 happened, and I discovered the first images of S.I.C Sky Rider and Super-1, and I fell in love.  Now two purchases and 3 preorders later I’ve become stuck in another toyline with no hopes of saving myself or my wallet.  So how does the last S.I.C. of 2011 stand up to my own over-hype?
