Brickvault: Kre-On Preview Wave

About a year ago, Hasbro released their first wave of Transformers Kre-O, their building block line using the Transformers franchise.  Since it’s announcement people have begged for blindpacked Kre-Ons (the Transformers minifigs akin to Lego’s) only to be met with “no plans at this time” answers from Hasbro.  Well at SDCC they dropped the news that Kre-On blindpacks were coming, and the first preview wave of 6 would be hitting stores soon.  Well I just got mine and figured I’d share my thoughts.

VinylVault: S.L.U.G. Zombies

Another forray into blindpacks!  This time with Jakks Pacific S.L.U.G. Zombies line.  Initially a set of 12 zombies minifigures sold as a set at seemingly random ToysRUs’s, eight of these have been repackaged into single-packed blindpacked boxes.  I found these at Walgreens of all places but apparently they’re suppose to be hitting Targets and Kmarts too? Read on for the review.

VinylVault: The Trash Pack

I have a bit of a confession.  I’m addicted to blind pack “stuff”.  When I was a kid it was collectible card games, despite never having anyone to play them with.  Through high school it was any blind pack import figures I could find at the local anime conventions.  Nowadays, blind-pack has taken the world by storm.  Lego Minifigs (got em), My Little Pony (kids got em), Star Wars (Got em) Squinkies (kids again), etc.  Just about everything seems to have some form of a blind-bagged sub-line these days.  One of the more cult-following lines is the Trash Pack.  And this is the one that’s seemingly hooked me in for the long haul.
